Juliana Spinola

As a devoted member of the Coastal Prairie Conservancy's Board of Directors, Juliana Spinola brings a deep love for Houston’s natural beauty and a commitment to ensuring the preservation of natural spaces for future generations.

Juliana's passion for Texas conservation is rooted in her hope to ensure a thriving environment for her family and all those who call the Greater Houston area home. "I want to ensure that the next generation finds Texas equal or better than I have experienced," she says, highlighting her commitment to preserving and enhancing our environment for future Texans.

Serving on CPC’s Board of Directors holds special significance for Juliana. "I am giving back to the community that has been so great for my family and me," she shares. As an advocate for land trusts, Juliana emphasizes the urgency of environmental conservation: "No money will save us from the catastrophes that a lack of care for the environment creates. No money will provide water or air once nature is gone. We should care while we can still make a difference." Her words carry a reminder of our responsibility to preserve and restore our local coastal prairie ecosystem that provides our communities with so many benefits.

When spending time in nature, Juliana finds joy in Houston’s public parks where people can connect with nature in urban areas. On the coastal prairie, Juliana’s heart beats for the countless species of birds that call the prairie home. Their graceful flight and enchanting songs are something people from all over the world come to experience!

When looking to the future, Juliana is excited to see CPC’s reach grow on social media. In our digital era, harnessing the power of social media is an effective tool to engage new audiences and inspire a new generation of environmental leaders.

Juliana’s dedication to the Coastal Prairie Conservancy exemplifies the impact that individuals can have on the conservation of Texas' beauty. Through her commitment to conservation, Juliana is ensuring that the legacy of environmental stewardship on the coastal prairie will endure for generations to come. If you see Juliana the next time you visit the prairie, please say hello!
