Summer Science Night: What a Hoot!

  • Indiangrass Preserve 31950 Hebert Rd Waller, TX, 77484 United States (map)

Summer Science Nights are a great way to enrich your child’s understanding of science in the best laboratory of all — the great outdoors. Each session includes hands-on, minds-on activities and a hike on one of our wildlife-rich preserves. Sign up for one, two, three or all four classes. Each class runs from 6 - 8 pm at our Indiangrass Preserve.

Each night silent hunters patrol the prairie’s inky sky looking for prey. These ghostly birds combine super sensitive hearing and razor sharp vision to hunt hidden prey. Join us for a night of adventure as we try living like an owl, dissect owl pellets, and even meet an owl!

Cost: $7 per child per class
Audience: Children ages 5 - 8
Registration: Click here to register.
Volunteers: KPC needs guides to help lead activities. Contact Jaime Gonzalez if you would like to help.
