Our local prairies need trained storytellers to serve as ambassadors between these misunderstood grasslands and our vibrant, diverse community. We call these special storytellers Meadowlarks and we know that they are critical to raising awareness and appreciation of our prairies. So, whether you're leading a RangerTrek Tour on the Flat Out Wonderful Katy Prairie or teaching Houstonians about an inner-city pocket prairie, like Buffalo Bayou Park, this is the training for you! You will receive a special two-part training starting with an evening prairie and interpretation basics class (taught indoors at 3015 Richmond Ave., Houston TX) and ending with in the field training and tour on the newly renovated Buffalo Bayou Park near downtown Houston.
