Unplugged Adventure: Rails in the Rice

  • Nelson Farms Preserve (map)

Rice farms and rangelands are home to thousands of species of wildlife. Rails move silently through rice paddies, egrets seek insects among cow herds, and frogs patiently wait for prey along drainage ditches. Join us as we explore rice fields and cattle pastures looking for the colorful, amazing, and secretive lives of these landscapes.
