Directions | Warren Ranch – Headquarters

From Interstate 10

• Take the Mason Road exit (Exit 745) and go north for just over 3 miles to Clay Road.
• Turn left (west) at the stoplight onto Clay Road and drive for another 3 miles to the STOP sign at Katy Hockley Cutoff Road. ("Cutoff" is very small on the street sign, but be aware that this is not Katy-Hockley Road.)
• Turn right (north) onto Katy Hockley Cutoff Road drive north for about 9.3 miles
  LANDMARK: About 3 miles north of Clay Road you will come to the flashing light at FM 529.
  NOTE: Katy Hockley Cutoff Road turns into Katy-Hockley Road about 2 miles north of FM 529, but you just keep heading straight north -- you probably won't even notice the change).
  BE REALLY CAREFUL ON KATY-HOCKLEY AND KATY-HOCKLEY CUTOFF ROADS. THE
  SPEED LIMIT IS 45 MILES AN HOUR AND THERE ARE LOTS OF CONSTABLES WRITING
  TICKETS.
  LANDMARK: You will cross the ribbon of trees at Cypress Creek about 5 miles north of FM
  529, just over a mile before you get to your next turn at Jack Road. This may be hard to see at night, so watch your mileage.
• Turn left (west) onto Jack Road and drive just under 2 miles until it ends at Warren Ranch Road.
  LANDMARK: Salt mine will be on your left.
• Turn right (north) onto Warren Ranch Road.
• Drive about one mile and turn left into the first drive, and drive into the property.
  LANDMARK: The drive is across the road from Warren Lake. (See diagram on next page.)
• You will be directed where to park.

From US 290

• Take the Hegar Road exit (this is at the town of Hockley, roughly 30 miles west of the Loop
  610/US 290 intersection and about 21 miles west of the Sam Houston Toll Road/US 290
  interchange).
• Turn south onto Hegar Road, towards Hockley.
• In less than a mile, in Hockley, you will cross Business 290 and the railroad tracks, at which point Hegar Road turns into Warren Ranch Road.
• Continue south on Warren Ranch Road for about 3 miles. Warren Ranch Road bears left at this point.
  LANDMARKS: You will pass Mound Road which heads west (to the right) about 0.8 miles
  before this bend in Warren Ranch Road; and Warren Lake will be on your left starting before the road bends.
• When the Warren Ranch Road bears left, continue instead directly ahead onto a private road. (See diagram on next page.)
• You will be directed where to park.

From Interstate 10

From US 290

• Take the Hegar Road exit (this is at the town of Hockley, roughly 30 miles west of the Loop
610/US 290 intersection and about 21 miles west of the Sam Houston Toll Road/US 290

• Warren Ranch Road will fork to the left, take this fork. If you continue straight instead of
taking the left fork you will be entering a private road which will take you a complex with
houses and barns (this is not where you want to be).
• Continue on Warren Ranch Road for 0.84 miles.
• Turn right into the first gate on your right.

Directions | Warren Ranch South

From Interstate 10

• Take the Pin Oak Road exit and go north into Katy.
• Turn left (west) at the first stoplight (Highway 90). Go west on Hwy. 90 to the first stoplight (Avenue D) and turn right (north) cross the railroad tracks and follow Ave. D out of town.
• When you get out of town, Ave. D turns into Katy-Hockley Road. You will cross Clay Road and Beckendorf Road (among others) before you come to FM 529.
• Cross FM 529 and keep going north until you come to a T intersection.
• Turn left (west), you are now on Sharp Road. After about ½ mile Sharp Road makes a sharp turn to the right (north). Proceed another 1.1 miles where Sharp road makes a turn to the left (west).
• Take the left and cross Cypress Creek. The Warren Ranch South gate is the first gate on the right.

From US 290 (Out of Houston)

• Take either Clay Road or FM 529 west from US 290.
• You will cross Highway 6 and Barker Cypress Roads. Keep going west until you come to Katy- Hockley Road NOT Katy-Hockley Cutoff Rd. Katy-Hockley Road is approximately one mile west of Katy- Hockley Cutoff Road.
• Turn right (north) on Katy-Hockley Road. Go north until you come to a T intersection.
• Turn left (west), you are now on Sharp Road. After about ½ mile Sharp Road makes a sharp turn to the right (north). Proceed another 1.1 miles where Sharp road makes a turn to the left (west).
• Take the left and cross Cypress Creek. The Warren Ranch South gate is the first gate on the right.
  
  From US 290 west (from Waller)
  
  
• Take the FM 362 south from US 290. Stay on FM 362 about 11.5 miles to the first paved road that crosses FM 362 after it straightens out on the level prairie (street sign says Cochran Rd to the west and Hebert Rd to the east).
• Turn left (east) on to Hebert Road. After about 3 miles the pavement turns right (south) and Hebert Road continues east as a gravel road.
• Stay east on Hebert Road and you will cross Cypress Creek then the road turns right (south) then again to the left (east) after about a mile.
• The Wildlife Viewing Platform will be on the right just past this last bend in the road. From the viewing platform proceed about another ½ mile, and the road changes from gravel to pavement. Proceed another 1.75 miles and the gate will be on your left.

• Take the Katy Hockley Road exit
• Turn south onto Katy Hockley Rd and continue south until you reach Jack Rd.
• Turn right on Jack Road (west) and continue until you start heading north at the salt mine. At this point you are now on Warren Ranch Rd.
• Continue on Warren Ranch Road for approximately 1/2 mile until you see the parking lot on the right-hand side.
