ECOnnections

The Katy Prairie is full of fascinating and surprising connections and stories. If you would like to learn about these connections and train to lead public nature hikes, the Katy Prairie Conservancy (KPC) has the program for you. ECOnnections is a series of activity-based interpretive classes for new experienced as new as KPC volunteers. Each course focuses on making connections among the biological, historical, economic, and cultural dimensions of the Katy Prairie and will illustrate the importance of conserving this valuable resource for future generations. All classes limited to 20 participants. Classes are free but registration is required.

Wild West Tours

Wild West Tours are a great way to get an up-close look at some of the best places and wildlife that the Katy Prairie has to offer. These adventures are led by well-known local naturalist Glenn Olsen, an expert in local ecology knows lots about local birds and native plants.
